| K-Steel II 8ft or 9ft American Pool Table. The SAM K-Steel II is an update of the SAM K-Steel American Pool Table found in the majority of pool and snooker clubs in the UK that have American Pool Tables. This is the latest update of that legendary table the K-Steel II. Much of this tables success and popularity comes from the steel frame. This is inherent in the new design and gives a sense of control, durability and rigidity not found in other table models with a wooden or even MDF frame. The table has a three section slate that is 30mm thick and precision ground to exacting standards. Due to the steel frame the table responsiveness is akin to a steel block snooker table. The updated design now has professional pockets that fit flush to the rail allowing more accurate cueing when the cue ball is over any of the pockets. The 30mm slate is precision ground; which with Sam's unique locking levelling system provides the truest of playing surface. The top frame continues the approach of strength and accuracy with entire rail made from oak is directly bonded to the Artemis K-66 profile pool cushion. This provides a consistency of ball response akin to that of a steel block snooker cushion.
